So, Huffington Post tells me that according to a British based research firm, Harare in Zimbabwe is the worst city in the world (that’s not a war zone) to live in.
What a load of poop! I disagree – but that doesn’t matter. Marketing isn’t a matter of reality, it’s a matter of perception.
Still it’s another example of what happens when others get to tell the definitive story on who you are. They get to define you in the eyes of the world. It’s true of cities, and it’s true of businesses and people and every kind of brand.
